 Vascular Surgery
Vascular Surgery is the treatment of blood vessels in the body. Until recently, the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease has been invasive, but now with ultrasound, CT scanning, and MRI, the diagnosis of vascular disease has become virtually noninvasive.
While the treatment of vascular disease is not yet noninvasive, new developments in catheter based treatment has transformed much of vascular therapy into the minimally invasive arena.
